Allison Janney

AllisonAllison Brooks Janney, born on November 19, 1959 in America is an American actor. She is well-known for her performances across a variety of kinds of genres, both on screen and stage during her career of three decades. Janney has won numerous accolades such as the Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award and an Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to being nominated for the two Tony Awards. Janney was brought up in Dayton and Boston by her parents, got a scholarship from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art to continue her studies after graduation from Kenyon College. Janney received credit for several small and rarely-seen film and TV appearances throughout the years. Her breakthrough part as C. J. Cregg on The West Wing of NBC The West Wing (1999-2006) was the basis for 4 Primetime Emmy Awards. In recognition of her performance as Margaret Scully, a Showtime actress on the period show Masters of Sex, Janney received an award in 2014 for the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. Her most well-known role was her portrayal Bonnie Plunkett.
